The head of the election committee is responsible for the activities within the election committee. The election committee prepare the elections to positions within UTN. The head of the election committee makes sure that the positions are announced correctly, that there is sufficient marketing that advertises the positions and gathers the election committee to interviews with the candidates. The board, the head of the election committee and the speaker of the council will plan the election periods together in the beginning of each financial year.

The head of the election committee gets its delegation from the union council.
