UTN's student liaison officers head of academic affairs, work with monitoring and improving the faculty's educational programs and the study environment for students and doctoral candidates. As a student liaison officer head of academic affairs - engineering, you are responsible for monitoring and improving these programs. This includes monitoring educational issues for Teknat students both locally and nationally. It is therefore important to have good communication with the university and other study monitors. Likewise, monitoring and influencing the university's, and in particular the faculty's, work and policies in the field of education.
UTN has four student liaison officers with different areas of responsibility: engineering programs, science programs, study-related social issues, and PhD programs and affiliations. These four, together with the union's president, form the monitoring unit. Together with the other full-time employees, the study monitors are part of the management team.
