UTN’s student liaison officers are responsible for the union’s work with monitoring and improving the faculty’s education and study environment. Each liaison officer has a specific area of responsibility: engineering programmes (Utb-t), science programmes (Utb-n), postgraduate education and collaboration (Utb-f), or study-related social issues (Soc), such as equal opportunities and the work environment.
All student liaison officers’ assignments and work naturally revolve around the quality of education and studies, but ultimately, you are the one responsible for ensuring that the engineering programmes at the faculty maintain a high standard of quality. You are the one who should gather students’ opinions about their education and what needs improvement. You are also the one who should influence the faculty to bring about these improvements.
As a student liaison officer, you are compensated full-time for 12 months, which means you cannot study while holding this position. The compensation period aligns with the academic terms at the Faculty of Science and Technology (Teknat), starting in the spring semester.
