The main task as the Information Officer is to convey an overall picture of the unions purpose and work to the faculty students, as well as external parties. In addition, the Information Officer coordinates and administers UTN's websites, e-mail systems, current membership registers and the social media of the union. A large part of the work is to stay well familiar with the organization's areas of activity, especially the union's core activity of maintaining student-educational interest. By knowing what is relevant within the union's working groups, committees, the management team and UTN as a whole, the Information Officer is able to identify what may be of interest to students at the faculty and external parties at the same time. The information officer is also responsible for the union's graphic profile and shall both ensure that it is followed by those involved within the union and that it is up to date.
